The TerraFirmaGreg group of modpacks are a unique hybrid of two giants of modding: TerraFirmaCraft (a deep, realistic survival overhaul) and GregTech (the most challenging and comprehensive tech-based mod). They offer an unprecedentedly long, complex, and progressive adventure where technology evolves from the Stone Age to space conquest.

TerraFirmaGreg-Modern (for 1.20.1): A modern iteration built on GregTech Modern. It emphasizes seamless integration of all mods (Create, Ad Astra, AE2) into a single technological narrative. This is a more "polished" experience with modern mechanics.

TerraFirmaGreg-Vintage (for 1.12.2): A classic version based on the proven GregTech CEu. It offers "survival as it should be" — harsh, realistic, and full of challenges, with classic tech mods like Galacticraft and OpenComputers.

General philosophy for both packs:
